Mulligan's Beach House
VERO BEACH, FLA. – The last skim contest of the Skim USA Tour season is always crowd favorite and often attracts skimmers from around the world.
On Labor Day Weekend, professional and amateur riders will descend upon the sunny stretch of sand behind Mulligan’s Beach House in Vero Beach with hopes of sliding their skimboards to victory. Over the past 14 years, the Mulligan’s Skim Jam has evolved into the largest one-day skim contest where competitors of all levels show off tricks they’ve dialed in over the years and share stories of the tour with old and new friends alike.
“The shore lb. crew is honored to be part of the skim community and to host this contest for 14 years running. It’s become a staple on both the Skim USA Tour and the local event calendar,” says Chris Ellison, Chief Extreme Officer at shore lb. “Since the beginning, we’ve strived to teach younger riders the importance of paying it forward by donating a portion of the proceeds to charities that provide and align with shore lb.’s mission.”
The 14th annual Mulligan’s Skim Jam, hosted by shore lb., takes place at Mulligan’s Beach House, Sexton Plaza Beach, 1050 Beachland Boulevard, Vero Beach, on Saturday, September 4 2021. Due to COVID-19 protocols, registration has been moved online and must be completed in advance by visiting https://liveheats.com/events/
