In his newest Mark McAllister thriller “Cognac For Breakfast”, popular Vero Beach author and screenwriter Alan Wolford has included colorful scenes featuring our own Vero Beach lifeguards as well as scenes at each of the Poker Stroll locations. He will be joining the lifeguards at Waldo’s for the VBLA Poker Stroll Sunday evening, Sept. 29th, from 5 to 8pm. In honor of their service to our community, and to help with VBLA fundraising, Mr. Wolford has offered to donate a portion of the proceeds of books sold at the event to help fund the planned new lifeguard pavilion at Humiston Park.
Mr. Wolford will be available to personally autograph his latest thriller, and the public is cordially invited to stop by, meet the author, and participate in a worthy cause.
