Students Learn About Water Safety from VBLA

Last week students from Classical Conversations, a national organization of home-schooled students, were taught about ocean and beach safety at South Beach Park by Tim Capra, Vice President of the Vero Beach Lifeguard Associaton.

“We are happy to volunteer our time to local groups and students”, replied Mr Capra who has taught this particular group for the past three years.

The volunteer committee working on the construction for the John C. Girard Community Poolside Pavilion at Leisure Square has set the wheels in motion and look to early 2015 for it to be completed.

Barefoot Ball raises funds to keep beachgoers safe
